Already an Amazon influencer? Learn how to go live on Amazon here.

Amazon Live offers a great possibility for influencers to recommend products that they own or know about and get a commission if their viewers decide to buy. As an influencer, you're educating & helping people to make a decision while engaging with them during the live show!

What are the requirements?

Amazon requires you to have a certain level of following & community to become an influencer. While they don't share specific numbers, they are looking for people who are consistent in their content and have a good level of engagement from the community.

How to apply?

  1. To apply, go to Amazon Influencers page. There you can sign up using your existing Amazon account or create a new one.

  2. After you sign in, Amazon will ask you to select one of your public social media accounts (Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, or Facebook). Choose the network where your social media presence is greatest. The more followers you have, the higher chance you have to succeed in your application. However, micro-influencers are more likely to succeed if they engage with their fans.
  3. Once Amazon approves your account, you can create your storefront. Influencers on Amazon have access to a special Amazon Storefront, where they can add products that they will be promoting. We recommend promoting the products you have and use. The most successful streamers of Amazon Live show themselves using the product during the shows.
  4. That's it! Once you go live, your stream will appear automatically on your influencer storefront and on the Amazon Live home page & you can start earning commissions from all qualifying purchases of products you feature in your Livestream.

What's next?

Amazon has 3 levels for its influencers: Rising Star, Insider, and A-list. The higher level, the more benefits you get. You can learn more about the requirements for each level here.

💡 Tips on Amazon Live:

  • Produce original & helpful content for your viewers;

  • Make sure you have a good quality camera & mic;

  • Try longer stream durations (60+ minutes is preferred);

  • Interact with your viewers to make the show more engaging;

  • Show products that you own or have experience with (you are expected to have 75% of the products displayed either physically on hand or as a video b-roll of you using the product)

Happy broadcasting! 🥰
