Overview

To go live on YouTube, you need a Google account and a YouTube Channel. Create a Google account, go to YouTube and click Sign In if your Google account is not connected to YouTube.

❗ To start the verification process, go to youtube.com/verify

Step 1

Select your country and how you want to receive the verification code (call or text). Fill out all the required information afterwards.

Hit Submit.

Step 2

Enter the code you receive and click Submit.

The verification process takes 24 hours to complete. 

Note: It is important to verify your YouTube account; otherwise, you will not be able to go live and will receive the following error message in the Studio:
